ChanTape

Terms of sale

Last updated 6 November 2026

These terms cover buying ChanTape Chad, the paid version of the ChanTape browser extension. The free version stays free and needs none of this.

Who sells it

ChanTape is made by Tomasz Marczak. ChanTape Chad is sold through Stripe Managed Payments: Stripe takes your payment, adds any sales tax or VAT, sends your receipt, and handles billing and refund requests for us. At checkout you also accept Stripe’s and Link’s terms for the payment itself.

What you get

Chad checks its license with chantape.com about twice a day. If our server is down, Chad keeps working for at least a few days.

Plans and prices

Prices are in US dollars. Tax is added at checkout where the law requires it, and the total is shown before you pay.

Cancelling a subscription

Cancel at any time with the link in Stripe’s receipt email or from your account at link.com. Chad stays on until the end of the period you’ve already paid for, then turns off. No further charges are made.

Refunds

If Chad doesn’t work for you, ask for a refund within 60 days of the payment through Link support, using the link in your receipt email. Eligible requests are refunded in full, including tax. You can also write to [email protected] and we’ll help.

When a payment is refunded or disputed with your bank, the license it paid for is turned off.

If ChanTape changes

We keep improving Chad and may change or replace individual features. If we ever stop offering ChanTape Chad, we’ll tell subscribers at least 30 days ahead and stop charging them.

ChanTape plays video from imageboards it has no control over. If a site changes or goes offline, some features may stop working there until we update the extension.

Liability

ChanTape is provided as it is. We don’t promise it will work on every site or without interruption. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer law of the country you live in.
